Fischereirevier Stürzenbecher Neudenstein

Manager Richard Stürzenbecher

The area 10 stretches in the reservoir Draustau Edling on the left bank from the Völkermarkter border to the border Rakollach, pumping station. In addition to predators, e.g. pike, zander, catfish and so on, this water is known as the Carinthian bream region. The high nutrient supply and the riparian areas including side waters also provide an optimal habitat for the cyprinids such as carp, tench, roach, rudd, gull, crucian carp and other carp-like fish. For matchfisher this area with the bream as leadfish is a paradise and carp anglers will also not be disappointed. Furthermore, zander fishermen will enjoy the very good zander stock. In the middle of the district there is a nature reserve with many islands, dams and bays. Of course, fishing is prohibited here. Due to the fact that this area is one of the widest areas of the Völkermarkter reservoir, there are many spots with slow currents.
