Fishing family Ruše

In the settlement of Log pod Pečkami, two medium-sized streams from Pohorje merge into the larger Bistrica stream, which flows through a valley about 3.5 km long and flows into the Drava river in the settlement of Bistrica ob Drava. It is the third largest Pohorje stream managed by RD Ruše. It is mainly inhabited by brown trout, but in the lower reaches there are also rainbow trout, chub and gudgeon, which are not allowed to be fished. Fishing with a daily licence is permitted from the confluence of the two branches of the stream in the Log settlement to the outlet of the stream into the Drava River. Fly fishing and fishing with a bubble float and the use of one artificial fly is permitted.
