Not in the fishing season
Members must have valid membership card on them while fishing! The fishing is done in pairs of two adult fishermen- at least one of them must be the member of the RD Novo mesto, both must have their fishing exam passed. The fishermen without the exam must be escorted. If you do not have an escort, please contact us on info@ribiskekarte.si. The fishermen must be at most 100 m apart, on the same side of the river.

  • Allowed catch (ATTENTION: it is necessary to consider the minimal length and the fishing season for each individual species!) Member of the fishing family Novo mesto: 1 huchen per season. Non-members can take 1 huchen or 1 pike. When the allowed quota of fish is taken, the fishing must be concluded. Any take of the huchen or the huchen (even below recquired measures) that was hurt, must be immediately reported to the chief of the fishing guide service of the fishing family Novo mesto.

  • Restrictions
    Fishing is allowed with a suitable strong rod and a line of at least 0.40 mm. The lure must not be shorter than 12 cm - measured without the hook. It is allowed to use a fly rod #7 or heavier with associated appropriate equipment. Mandatory use of single hooks on all lures! Fishing must be done in a pair of two fishermen or a fisherman with an escort. Possible combinations are: member of the club + member of the club, member of the club + member of another club, member of the club + young member from Article 37 of the Rulebook on Sport Fishing of the club. The fishermen must fish at a distance of no more than 100 m and maintain visual contact, on the same side of the river. All must pass a fishing exam. Exceptionally, a member of the club accompanied by another member of the club may fish. Fishing from all bridges is prohibited.

    From the dam in Žužemberk to the wooden bridge in Mršeča vas, including the tributaries Radeščica (from the dam in Nardin to the outflow), Sušica (from the dam in Dolenjske toplice to the outflow) and Temenica (from the dam in Zalog to the outflow).
