Restrictions
For rainbow trout fishing, the use of artificial bait is mandatory except in the area from the floating barrier at the Breg cabin to the Mavčiče hydroelectric power plant, where bottom fishing is also permitted. In bottom fishing for rainbow trout, the only allowed bait is trout paste. Fishing for catfish, zander, and pike is allowed exclusively with the use of artificial baits, except for catfish fishing, where in the area between the tennis courts in Zarica and the Mavčiče hydroelectric power plant, other permitted baits can also be used. When using dead fish for catfish fishing, the minimum bait length is 20 cm. When fishing for catfish, the use of a hook with a diameter of 20 mm or more and a line with a carrying capacity of over 15 kg is mandatory. The use of clonking is allowed. Boat fishing is permitted up to the wire rope above the Mavčiče hydroelectric power plant. Feeding is prohibited!
