Fishing family Jesenice

This is our longest fishing beat, stretching 32 km. The beat runs along the road from Podkoren to Slovenski Javornik. The entire beat is relatively easy to access. The upper section stands out for its beautiful nature and exceptionally scenic surroundings, while the lower section is special for its competition course, which was prepared some time ago for a World Fly Fishing Championship event. Added value is provided by the Bistrica stream, which flows through Mojstrana and can be fished in the lower section from the waterfall in Mojstrana down to its confluence with the Sava Dolinka. This is an alpine stream where native brown trout and rainbow trout can be found. Access is possible throughout the entire village.

The diversity of the whole beat is reflected in the presence of trophy-sized brown trout, rainbow trout, brook char in the upper section, and grayling in the lower section. The total water surface area is 51.2 ha.
