  • Restrictions
    In the whole district you can fish with a fly rod and one artificial fly. Spin fishing is allowed with spoon lure nr. 4 or bigger and with plugs bigger than 7 cm, using one triple hook with barbs pressed. It is forbidden to use artificial fly longer than 35 mm (measured from the eye of the hook to the end of its tail). Use only barbless hooks or hooks with pressed barbs! Extra weight (split shot) on the mono is not allowed.

  • Fishing area
    Fly fishing is allowed from the old stone bridge in the old city centre of Vipava to the dam in Kasovlje (the border with RD Renče). The area where you can spin fish extends from the outflow of the river Hubelj to the dam in Kasovlje (the border with RD Renče).
