The Ribiška družina Maribor manages aquatic life on the border between the alpine world and plane-Carphatian one. Our geographical position dictates the life in our water where the carps are dominating species : first class specimen of carps and barbels, many catfish and even some pikes. And we are not hard to find considering that we are on the main slovenian road.
The pond is rich in carps but there are some crucian carps as well. Even in the strongest heat you can fish here without worries because hundred years old trees make perfect shadows.
