Hello all the carp fans<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

It was in September 15th when i and my cousin went to \u0160martinsko Lake<\/strong> with one single purpose- to catch big carp<\/strong>. We decided to stay by the lake for 4 days at destination,\u00a0approximately 2km before\u00a0embankment, near the ship.<\/p>\n

First day we vere only feeding carp<\/strong> on a spot about 100m from the shore<\/strong>. We mixed 10 kilo boiled<\/strong> \u00a0hemp seeds , 30 kilo boiled corn , 5 kilo chickpeas and 5 kilo boiles in a big container and mixed it all together. Then we went with a boat to place a marker<\/strong> about 100m from the shore and 10 feet deep<\/strong>. So we were ready to\u00a0extend feeding place within a radius of 20 meters by the marker…After “hard work” we had time to make our camp by the shore and rest a little. It was sunny day in autumn. Nature aroud us was just amazing.<\/strong> The leaves of the trees were just turning from green to yellow and red colour, quite amazing scene…<\/p>\n

Second day I stood up early, my cousin was still sleeping. I sit in a boat loaded with 30kilo of boiled corn in 5 kilo of boiles<\/strong> \u00a0and started rowing to the marker. When i was approaching to the marker<\/strong> i noticed a lot of thiny bubbles<\/strong>, raising from the \u00a0bottom of the Lake. That was a good sign<\/strong>.\u00a0I immediately began throwing feed from the container. I said it to myself: “I just fix my rods and we are ready for some action<\/strong>“!<\/p>\n

And so it was. First beeeeeeeeee on my\u00a0audible iIndicator. After 10 minutes of fight i caught 13 kilo carp<\/strong>.\u00a0Not bad for a start. During the day we caught some 5-10 kilo carps<\/strong>. But in the evening another strong<\/strong> beeeeee on a rod of my cousin…After 20 minutes of a strong fight he managed to catch it. We landed 16kilo common carp<\/strong> in our net. Wow what a nice fish<\/strong> it was. We took some pictures and released<\/strong> a nice looking carp.<\/p>\n

Next day it was almost the same story. In the morning we caught some 8-10 kilo carps<\/strong>. Then in the afternoon i caught one nice common 18kilo carp<\/strong>. We took some photos and released<\/strong> it.<\/p>\n

Now i was relaxed, i caught a nice fish and i thought “thats it”…Now we were both more easy going…we made a fire by the lake and enjoy calming evening moments.<\/p>\n

Next morning it was the last day our fishing at \u0160martinsko Lake. We did all the same, but with less feeding by the marker. In the morning I fed only 3 kilo of boiles<\/strong>. Once again i was relaxed by my camping chair<\/strong> watching birds flying<\/strong> and making liveling sounds over the lake. We had no bite in the morning, wich was quite strange. I thought its over with our carp session<\/strong>. In teh afternoon i had first beeeeeeep. After 30 minutes of fight i landed 22,5 kilo carp in my net.<\/strong> What a excellent fish<\/strong>! We took photos and released nice carp<\/strong>….<\/p>\n

If you are searcing for a good carpfishing in Slovenia<\/strong>, that’s the place. \u0160martinsko Lake<\/strong> is the best Slovenian destination<\/strong> for all who would like to spend some free time<\/strong> in a beautiful nature<\/strong> and the same time catch a big carp<\/strong>, maybe carp of a lifetime<\/strong>… you never know.<\/p>\n
