Pridru\u017eita se jima \u0161e peti in \u0161esti okus, umami in okus za ma\u0161\u010dobe. Za razliko od mnenja, da so brbon\u010dice za vsakega od omenjenih okusov le na dolo\u010denem delu jezika, pa moderna znanost ve, da temu ni tako.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V\u010dasih so bili mnenja, da na sprednjem delu jezika oku\u0161amo <strong>sladko<\/strong>, spredaj levo in desno <strong>slano<\/strong>, ob straneh na levi in desni <strong>kislo<\/strong> in zadaj <strong>grenko<\/strong>. Lo\u010dimo jih pet vrst: gobaste, oto\u010dkaste, listaste, nitaste in koni\u010dne. Brbon\u010dice vsebujejo le oto\u010dkaste, gobaste in listaste bradavice, te zaznavajo vseh pet ali \u0161est okusov, ki smo jih navedli zgoraj.
